About Luxair
Luxair is a key and responsible player as well as a major employer in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the surrounding Greater Region. The company has been active for over 60 years in four aviation-related activities: passenger air transport, tour operating, airport services and air freight handling.
The goal
With the ever-growing demand for air travel, comes the need for more pilots. Luxair’s approach to getting new pilots was unique, instead of only employing pilots who are ready to fly, Luxair was actively searching for passionate and determined aviation enthusiasts to join their Luxair Pilot Cadet Program which offered pre-financed flight training to the students. With the cost of flight training being so expensive, Luxair wanted to ensure they would get the best candidates possible, so with the help of LuxPlanes, our goal was to advertise the new program to a large group of keen aviation lovers.
The promotion
Promoting the program was quite simple, LuxPlanes already has a huge following of aviation enthusiasts, so the only step that needed to be taken was posting about it. We approached it in 2 methods:

Conclusion
The views and likes show the great positive reception for the Pilot Cadet Program, and while we don’t have data regarding how many applicants came from LuxPlanes, we hope to have helped both our audience to get an insight into the program as well as Luxair to find new skilled pilots to continue flying the Luxembourgish flag across the sky.
