The airline placed an order for four of these new aircraft, which will help modernize and expand Luxair’s fleet and network. The 737 MAX 7’s advanced engines mean that they will produce less noise, and be more efficient. These sophisticated engines will allow the airline to save up to eight million pounds of carbon emissions every year. The airline posted this to its Instagram account, stating that this new development will help them support the “Net-Zero carbon emissions by 2050” proposed by the International Air Transport Association.
This new order also means that the airline has now placed orders for a total of eight of Boeing’s new and technologically advanced 737 MAX aircraft.
